Lifeshare Blood Center in Texarkana, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our mobile collections team. You will travel to community sites, register donors, perform phlebotomy, and provide care during and after donation to help maintain a safe blood supply.

This entry-level role offers on-the-job training with no prior experience required, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team across town.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete in-house Donor Services Training Program and proficiency checks within first 90 days of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification within the first 6 months or possess current CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable in all collection methods and able to manage collection events.
• Dependable, punctual with effective communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information at all times.

Responsibilities

• Register blood donors and perform a medical screening assessment.
• Perform phlebotomy and provide care to donors during and after donation.
• Ensure a positive donor experience to cultivate return donors.
• Help maintain a safe blood supply for trauma, therapies and treatments.
