Job summary

Biodesix seeks contract mobile phlebotomists to collect samples in patients' homes or workplaces across California. You will perform venipuncture, schedule promptly, and ensure secure handling of PHI and paperwork.

Requirements include at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, strong communication, reliable transportation, and adherence to procedures. Training is provided; vaccination may be required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

Excellent phlebotomy skills including venipuncture.
Minimum of 1 full year of phlebotomy experience within the last 3 calendar years.
Professional verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and issue reporting.
Ability to follow established procedures with sound judgement.
Organized method for contacting and scheduling patients and communicating with the office.
Strong time management to ensure all draws are conducted promptly.
Technical knowledge to print, scan, upload and manage electronic communications.

Responsibilities

Contact each patient within 24 hours.
Prompt scheduling of appointments (1 to 3 days).
Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, patient issues or draw complications.
Specimen collection adhering to kit instructions for accurate testing.
Samples packed and shipped same day using provided FedEx materials.
Prompt invoicing of draws for payment.
