Job summary

Biodesix is seeking contract mobile phlebotomists to collect samples at patients\' homes or workplaces via nasal swab or venipuncture, supporting blood-based tests that inform tumor biology. Virtual training will be provided for all sample types and kits.

Equipment and supplies are provided; you must have reliable transportation, gloves, sharps container, and access to a smartphone, computer, and printer to receive orders and print documents.

Qualifications

• Excellent phlebotomy skills including venipuncture.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to strictly follow established procedures and guidelines.
• Organized method for scheduling patients and coordinating with the office.
• Strong time-management and administrative printing/scanning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient within 24 hours.
• Prompt scheduling of appointments (1 to 3 days).
• Communicate with office regarding scheduling or issues.
• Perform specimen collection adhering to kit instructions for accurate testing.
• Pack and ship samples the same day using provided materials.
• Prompt invoicing of draws for payment.
