Job summary

Biodesix is seeking contract mobile phlebotomists to collect samples in patients' homes or workplaces in the Kansas area. You will perform venipuncture and nasal swab collections, ensuring proper handling of specimens and timely communication with the office.

The role requires reliable transportation, the ability to meet scheduling windows, and compliance with privacy and safety procedures. Training is provided online, and equipment is supplied.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience within the last 3 calendar years.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including venipuncture.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Organized scheduling and time-management skills.
• Ability to print, scan, upload and manage electronic communications.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient within 24 hours.
• Prompt scheduling of appointments (1 to 3 days).
• Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, patient issues or draw complications.
• Specimen collection adhering to kit instructions precisely.
• Samples packed and shipped same day using FedEx shipping materials provided.
• Prompt invoicing of draws for payment.
