A mobile healthcare company is seeking a part-time Mobile Phlebotomist for appointments across Indiana. The role involves traveling to patients' locations to obtain vital samples and requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and excellent customer service skills. This independent contractor position pays per appointment, rather than hourly, and some travel expenses may be covered. Ideal candidates must have a proven background in phlebotomy and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experienced phlebotomist with reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Must be computer proficient and have access to printing/scanning.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation a must.
• Must be computer proficient, have internet access and a printer/scanner: to print, scan and upload completed documents.

Responsibilities

• Travel to specified locations for obtaining samples.
• Disinfect extraction sites and gather patient information.
• Maintain accurate patient records and label samples correctly.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKG's, medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which includes detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

Job Details

• The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKG's, medical history.
• The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments.
• Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly paid position.
• Bi-Weekly Pay!
• Some travel expenses covered depending on the location of the appointment.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKG's, medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which includes detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experienced phlebotomist.
• Valid driver's license.
