A mobile healthcare provider is seeking a Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist in Bonifay, Florida. This independent contractor position involves traveling to patients to obtain medical samples including blood and urine. Candidates must have proven phlebotomy experience, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of HIPAA laws. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, along with attention to detail. Compensation is per appointment and bi-weekly pay is provided.

Job Details

• The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history.
• The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments.
• Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly or salary-paid position.
• Bi-Weekly Pay.
• Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples above as required.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experienced phlebotomist.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid Auto Insurance.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner: to print, scan and upload completed documents.
