Job summary

Mobile Wellness Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist to work as an independent contractor. The role requires traveling to patients’ locations to obtain vitals, draw blood, urine, and perform EKGs while collecting medical histories.

Responsibilities include accurate labeling of samples, maintaining patient records, HIPAA compliance, and ensuring documentation is uploaded. Pay is per appointment with bi-weekly pay and some travel expenses covered depending on location.

Qualifications

• Proven phlebotomist with good venipuncture skills.
• Excellent customer service & communication abilities.

• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient locations to collect samples (blood, urine) and perform vitals/EKG as required.
• Disinfect venipuncture sites and ensure sterile technique.
• Gather and verify patient information and identities.
• Accurately label samples and maintain chain-of-custody.
• Maintain clear patient records and document any issues affecting results.
• Print, scan, and upload completed documents as needed.

Job Details

• The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history.
• The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments.
• Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly or salary-paid position.
• Bi-Weekly Pay.
• Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples above as required.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experienced phlebotomist.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid Auto Insurance.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner: to print, scan, and upload completed documents.
