A mobile healthcare company is seeking a Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist to obtain vitals and samples while traveling to patient locations. This role requires a proven phlebotomist, a valid driver's license, and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include verifying patient identities and maintaining accurate records. Flexibility in travel and work hours is required, and compensation is based on appointments rather than hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Proven experienced phlebotomist.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
• Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be computer proficient, with internet access and a printer/scanner to print, scan and upload documents.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying identities.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Obtain vitals, blood, urine, and EKGs, and medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintain accurate patient records with notes on any issues affecting test results.

Job Details

• The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history.
• The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments.
• Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly or salary-paid position.
• Bi-Weekly Pay.
• Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples above as required.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experienced phlebotomist.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid Auto Insurance.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner: to print, scan and upload completed documents.
