A private healthcare provider seeks a reliable and experienced Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist. In this role, you will travel to patients' locations to obtain blood, urine, and EKG samples, while ensuring all procedures adhere to necessary regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven phlebotomy skills and effective communication abilities, alongside valid transportation and knowledge of HIPAA regulations. This position offers bi-weekly pay per appointment, not hourly.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a phlebotomist is required.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance needed.
Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law is crucial.
Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI laws.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Professional, responsible, self-starter with good penmanship.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient locations.
Computer proficiency; access to internet and printer/scanner for documents.
Responsibilities

Job Details:
The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history.
The candidate will travel to the patient’s location for appointments.
Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly or salary-paid position.
Bi-Weekly Pay.
Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.
Responsibilities:
Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples above as required.
Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
Accurately labeling all samples.
Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experienced phlebotomist.
Valid driver’s license.
Valid Auto Insurance.
Excellent customer service & communication skills.
Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
