Job summary

Akumin is seeking a full-time PET/CT Technologist for our Morehead, KY mobile team. This role travels to multiple sites including Harlan, Middleburg, Whitesburg, and more to perform PET/CT imaging with a patient-centered approach.

You will ensure patient safety, pre-screen for contraindications, operate scanners, and communicate clearly with patients and radiologists. Requires NMTCB/ARRT(N), state license if required, CPR, and 1–2 years in Nuclear Medicine; Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred.
• State license as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and radiation safety compliance.
• Produce high-quality PET/CT images.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and coordinate with radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's as needed.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.
