Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Regional PET/CT technologist to provide scanning coverage and PET/CT training across multiple locations in the region. The role involves mobile imaging in outpatient centers, mobile coaches, and hospital settings with focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT(N)/NMTCB, and ability to travel up to 90%. They must communicate effectively, interpret orders, and optimize imaging parameters to deliver high-quality studies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification preferred or required.
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic images with emphasis on patient safety and radiation safety regulations.
• Collaborates with Account Development Directors to communicate with physician groups and Radiology/Clinic Directors.
• Troubleshoots the scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).
• Assists Sales team with start-ups and new business as needed.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
