Job summary

Akumin invites a Part-time PET/CT Technologist to join the Olympia mobile team, with travel to support our partner site in Federal Way. You will conduct PET/CT studies, prioritize patient comfort and safety, and coordinate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic quality.

This role offers variety across mobile coaching, freestanding centers, or hospital settings. The position emphasizes patient communication, precise imaging, and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and radiation safety compliance.
• Produce high-quality PET/CT images.
• Explain procedures and communicate with patients.
• Train new technologists and/or PCs.
• Troubleshoot scanner and related equipment.
