Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. seeks a skilled sonographer to travel to patient homes and perform echocardiograms on adults and children. You will set up portable ultrasound equipment, explain procedures, ensure patient comfort, and generate preliminary reports with measurements for cardiology review.

This role requires RDCS/ RCS credentials, AE in adults, 3+ years of experience, and a driver’s license. Excellent communication and independent field work are essential.

Qualifications

• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential required.
• AE certification in adults is required.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in adult and pediatric care.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet.
• Ability to work independently in field/non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in dynamic field environments.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI .


• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus


• 3+ years of recent sonography experience, in both adult and pediatrics


• Basic Life Support (BLS)


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally


• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy and self sufficient with digital tools


• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings


• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner


• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments


• Time management and organizational skills
