Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. seeks a skilled Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to perform mobile echocardiography across patient homes, with both adult and pediatric imaging. You will set up portable ultrasound systems, explain procedures, and ensure high-quality images for cardiology review.

The role requires ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS credentials, AE certification preferred, 3+ years of experience, and willingness to travel locally. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• RDCS/ARDMS registration is required.
• AE certification preferred; pediatric certification not required but a plus.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in both adult and pediatric populations.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally.

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI .


• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus


• 3+ years of recent sonography experience, in both adult and pediatrics


• Basic Life Support (BLS)


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally


• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy and self sufficient with digital tools


• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings


• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner


• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments


• Time management and organizational skills
