Job summary

Hawthorne-Health is seeking a Certified Cardiac Sonographer to perform in-home echocardiography visits in the McAllen area. You will travel with portable ultrasound equipment, obtain informed cooperation from patients, and ensure accurate image labeling for cardiology review.

The role requires RDCS or RCS credentials, AE certification, 3+ years in adult and pediatric sonography, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must hold RDCS or RCS credentials and AE certification.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in adult and pediatric.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)from ARDMS,or Registered Cardiac Sonographer(RCS)from CCI.

• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience,in both adult and pediatrics

• Basic Life Support(BLS)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy andself sufficientwith digital tools

• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings

• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner

• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments

• Time management and organizational skills

$450 - $600 a day

Rate of pay is per visit, not per day.
