Job summary

Hawthorne Health seeks a skilled sonographer to travel to patient homes and perform echocardiograms on both adult and pediatric patients. You will transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment, explain procedures, and obtain informed cooperation from participants, while ensuring comfort and safety.

Candidate must have RDCS or RCS certification, 3+ years of experience, BLS, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in adult and pediatric settings.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech-savvy and self-sufficient with digital tools.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)from ARDMS,or Registered Cardiac Sonographer(RCS)from CCI.

• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience,in both adult and pediatrics

• Basic Life Support(BLS)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy andself sufficientwith digital tools

• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings

• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner

• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments

• Time management and organizational skills

$450 - $600 a day

Rate of pay is per visit, not per day.
