Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver) in Atlanta, GA. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

A valid driver's license is required, and duties include customer service and incident response. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday evenings, with a pay rate of $15.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver's license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted as part of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unauthorized entry or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures while contacting emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
