Job summary

Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation in Richmond, TX is seeking a PRN Mobile and ALF Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our rehab program. The role offers potential to advance to Full Time and focuses on post-acute geriatric care with emphasis on wound care and functional rehabilitation.

Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing is required. New grads are welcome; opportunities to grow within a stable in-house therapy team and CAPLICO values guidance our practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing.
• New grads welcome; open to therapists at all experience levels.
• Experience with post-acute rehab and wound care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, developing care plans per standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments.
• Perform procedures as part of the rehab plan including manual therapy, gait training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers about physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.
