Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation in Richmond, TX is seeking a PRN Mobile and ALF Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join our rehab program with potential to advance to full-time. Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist.
• Open to applicants of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL impairments and develop a plan of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions for cognitive and/or ADL impairments per requirements.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (ADL retraining; therapeutic activities; exercises; modalities; assistive devices).
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record per requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and refer as needed based on outcomes.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients and families and other providers related to the physical disorders.
• Effectively communicate with supervisor and health team about progress, barriers, and plans.
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
