Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Taunton, MA area. This PRN role supports ALF/ILF, community-based care, and outpatient services in a respected rehabilitation organization.

The ideal candidate holds a current PT license in Massachusetts and preferably a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, with strong clinical and collaboration skills to design and implement patient-centered care plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a PT-related field plus applicable credentials.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with 5 years of progressive PT experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel per state licensure and professional standards.
• Ensure adherence to department and patient treatment schedules; complete clinical and billing documentation.
• Attend and contribute to patient care conferences and related meetings; collaborate with rehab team to select appropriate regimens.
• Develop and modify plan of care in partnership with patients and caregivers; adapt based on progress and needs.
• Promote safety, manage supplies/equipment, and ensure high-quality patient service.

MA Physical Therapy License (PT)

Master's degree in Physical Therapy

Master's in PT-related field + Bachelor's in PT

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy + 5 years PT experience
