Job summary

Eye Catching Jobs in Oregon is seeking a licensed optometrist to join a mobile clinical team serving Klamath Falls schools. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, determine prescriptions, and coordinate glasses distribution for students in underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Oregon Optometry License.
• Willingness to commute across the Klamath Falls area.
• Must pass Department of Justice background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision evaluations: check VA’s, assess binocular vision, IOP, pupils, perform a full refraction and prescribe appropriate correction, and assess ocular health.
• Prescribe vision devices, test patient on all applicable equipment to determine the most suitable for his/her condition, and instruct patient in the proper use of it.
• Confirm that patient diagnosis is properly documented in the internal systems.
