Job summary

Eyetastic Services is recruiting an Optometrist to deliver mobile eye care to nursing home residents across various facilities. You will perform on-site eye exams, refractions, glaucoma screenings, retinal evaluations, and develop individualized care plans.

You will work independently with portable equipment, supported by a medical assistant, with a flexible schedule (3–5 days per week, 5–6 hours per day) and no mandatory evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining

Responsibilities

• Visit different nursing homes each day to provide comprehensive on-site eye exams and vision care.
• Utilize portable equipment for refractions, glaucoma screenings, retinal evaluations, and more.
• Develop individualized care plans and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Collaborate with optometric assistants and support staff in a friendly, supportive team environment.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation for each patient encounter.
• Participate in follow-up care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient-centered care and professionalism
