Job summary

Eyetastic Services is seeking an Optometrist to deliver on-site eye exams and vision care across nursing homes. You will use portable equipment for refractions, glaucoma screenings, and retinal evaluations, while developing individualized care plans and prescribing corrective lenses.

A medical assistant supports daily tasks, enabling focus on clinical care. The role offers a flexible schedule (3-5 days/week) with no required evenings or weekends, and professional liability coverage is provided.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining.

Responsibilities

• Visit different nursing homes each day to provide comprehensive on-site eye exams and vision care.
• Use state-of-the-art portable equipment for refractions, glaucoma screenings, retinal evaluations, and more.
• Develop individualized care plans and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Collaborate with optometric assistants and support staff in a friendly, supportive team environment.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation for each patient encounter.
• Participate in follow-up care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
