Qualifications

• Optician Diploma; Optician Certification in Maryland (COA, COT, NCLE, and ABO) preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and familiarity with the greater Baltimore area.
• Experience working with children and diverse populations.
• Pass background checks and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mobile eye clinic operation and fit glasses per prescriptions.
• Take measurements, assist with frame selections, and dispense glasses to students.
• Complete daily reports and follow Vision To Learn health and safety protocols.
• Drive safely, set up the clinic, and maintain inventory.
• Conduct vision screenings and coordinate caregiver follow-ups.
