Vision To Learn is seeking a qualified Optician to join our mobile clinic team in Dallas, TX. This full-time role involves performing eye screenings, fitting and dispensing glasses, and supporting students in underserved communities.

Responsibilities include pre-tests, frame measurements, patient education, and daily reporting. Candidates should have an Optician Diploma and relevant certification, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to our mission of expanding vision access.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years optical experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; knowledge of Dallas County area geography preferred.
• Must pass company and applicable background checks and drug test.
• Experience working with children and diverse groups; patient care mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word; ability to learn EHR reporting and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned mobile eye clinic operation.
• Conduct eye exam pre-tests and maintain professional standards.
• Take measurements, fit and adjust frames per prescriptions.
• Assist patients with frame selections for best fit and satisfaction.
• Complete and prepare daily reports; meet deadlines; follow health protocols.
