Qualifications

• Currently credentialed as a CPSS in Washington state; a CPS credential alone is not sufficient.
• Lived experience with substance use recovery or strong understanding of recovery principles.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for mobile unit services.
• Must pass background screening per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients in recovery with empathy, advocacy, and support.
• Build trusting relationships through respectful, nonjudgmental communication.
• Engage patients in mobile unit services and community settings to support treatment participation.
• Coordinate housing, transportation, primary care, behavioral health, and social services.
• Document peer interactions in the EHR and support team communication.
