Cedar Wellness Center in Tacoma, WA is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to aid patients in recovery within a tribal OTP setting, using lived experience to provide empathy and access to resources. Reporting to the Clinic Director, you will blend clinical support with peer services to help patients navigate their treatment journey with dignity and hope.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Peer Support Specialist Certification licensed in Washington.
• 1 year of office or professional experience, preferably in OTP or SUD.
• Combination of education and work experience may be considered.
• Health and TB clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required for work-related travel.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group peer-support services.
• Facilitates access to essential resources and referrals.
• Develops relationships with agencies to coordinate care.
• Provides transportation support and housing referrals.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Performs front-desk and coordination duties as needed.
