Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CPSS credential in Washington is required, but CPSS alone is not sufficient for this role.
• Must have lived experience with substance use recovery or strong understanding of recovery principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients in recovery and provide peer-based support and advocacy.
• Coordinate care and connect patients to housing, transportation, primary care, behavioral health, and social services.
• Operate in mobile unit and community settings to promote engagement and access to treatment.
• Assist with scheduling, check-in workflows, and attendance tracking; document interactions in the EHR.
• Collaborate with counselors, medical providers, case managers, and staff; maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
