Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors providing services to U.S. military service members.

The role emphasizes weekend work with occasional weekday availability under Reserve Health Readiness Program, across various locations including remote military installations, on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing histories, interviewing personnel, identifying urgent concerns including behavioral health, and documenting results

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state.
CPR/BLS Certification required.
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
Adaptable to fast-paced environments and frequent travel.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using the proprietary system.
