Job summary

Akumin is hiring a full-time MRI Technologist for our Lansing, MI facility with a mobile role that travels to support UM Health-Sparrow partner sites. You will explain procedures, comfort patients, and maintain safety and quality during imaging.

Qualifications include ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration, state licensing as required, CPR, and a valid state driver’s license. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• Registered Technologist by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State License, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologist and/or PCs
