Job summary

Akumin Inc. in Traverse City, MI is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality imaging, and efficient operations, with opportunities to train new staff and assist radiologists.

The ideal candidate is ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registered, holds a state license as required, CPR certified, and has a valid driver’s license, with a focus on compassionate patient care and precise image acquisition.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration with appropriate state license as required.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient safety and pre-screening.
• Produces high quality diagnostic MRI images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologists and/or PCs.
