Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. seeks a regional MRI Technologist Floater to provide scanning coverage and MRI training nationwide within a mobile imaging healthcare environment.

You will support Team Members, perform clinical competencies, and help improve patient satisfaction across locations in the region. Requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent, 3+ years in Nuclear Medicine procedures, ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, state license, CPR, and a valid driver's license with regional

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experienced MRI Technologist with 3+ years in Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and state license as required; CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide MRI scanning coverage across locations as needed.
• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening for contraindications.
• Troubleshoot MRI scanner and peripheral equipment; coach staff.
• Coordinate with doctors and radiology staff on protocols and quality.
• Assist with startup activities and new business as needed.
