Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors providing health readiness services to military service members in Minnesota and at remote installations. The role primarily covers weekends with some weekday coverage under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities include supporting physical health assessments, reviewing medical histories and questionnaires, interviewing personnel, and documenting readiness classifications.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Minnesota is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments for military personnel.
• Review health history, records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine medical concerns and readiness.
• Identify immediate concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document results for readiness classification in the medical record.
