Job summary

Atrium Health Fort Mills EMS - Ambulance Services is hiring full-time transport personnel to care for ill and injured patients. You will provide patient care under Medical Control, maintain vehicle readiness, and document care accurately in the charting system.

Must hold SC EMT certification with additional NC/NR requirements within 90 days, BCLS and trauma certs. Driving duties require a valid license with minimal points and the role includes shift variability with day, night, and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current SC EMT certification required; National Registry preferred.
• NC EMT-B and National Registry EMT required within 90 days.
• BCLS and trauma certification must be maintained.
• Valid NC/SC driver's license, minimal points, and driving history.
• Minimum two years of driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for ill and injured patients as a transport team member.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and complete documentation promptly.
• Follow Medical Control guidance via radio or direct consultation.
• Assist with public relations and department activities as needed.
• Operate ambulances in compliance with policy and state laws.
