Job summary

Advantmed in the United States is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians for part-time, seasonal roles traveling to facilities. You will scan and manage patient records using EHR/EMR systems and maintain HIPAA compliance.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a personal vehicle, internet access, and availability 08:00–17:00 in your time zone. Competitive pay: $18–$21/hour, mileage reimbursement, travel allowances, and potential extensions based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Must own a car and have active insurance in your name, with registration documentation.
• Willing to drive 60–80 miles or more (round-trip).
• Internet access at home.
• Basic PC and office equipment skills.
• Applicants must be available 08:00–17:00 respective time zone to visit required facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gathering documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines and procedures.
• Interact with medical staff and other personnel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
