Job summary

Advantmed is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians to join our healthcare/technology team. This seasonal role involves traveling to various medical facilities to scan patient records and maintain organized digital files.

You will work with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech), ensure HIPAA compliance, and coordinate with medical staff. Must have driver's license, car, internet at home, English/Spanish bilingual, and be available 8am–5pm in your time zone.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
• Internet access at home and basic PC skills.
• Willing to travel to facilities and drive up to 60-80 miles.
• Available 08:00–17:00 in their respective time zones.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gathering documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• Interact with medical staff, healthcare providers, and other medical personnel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
