Job summary

Advantmed is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians to support scanning patient records across various medical facilities. The role includes travel with company-provided equipment and a focus on HIPAA-compliant data handling.

The position is part-time and seasonal, with pay including per-record rates and mileage/travel reimbursements; candidates must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Own a car and active insurance; provide registration.
• Willing to drive up to 60–80 miles round trip.
• Internet access at home.
• Available 08:00–17:00 local time for facility visits.
• Basic PC and office equipment skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met.
• Interact with medical staff and other medical personnel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
