Job summary

Advantmed is seeking enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians for a part-time, seasonal role requiring travel to multiple medical facilities and hospitals. You will scan patient records, maintain organized digital files, and ensure HIPAA compliance while using EHR/EMR systems.

The position offers paid travel allowances and mileage, with a pay rate of $18–$21 per hour or $3 per record, depending on assignment. Candidates must have a valid license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Must have a car and active insurance in their name with registration documentation.
• Willing to drive 60–80 miles or more (round-trip).
• Internet access at home.
• Basic PC and office equipment skills.
• Available to visit required facilities from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm in their time zone.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gathering documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met.
• Interact with medical staff and other personnel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
