Job summary

Atrium Health in Greensboro, NC seeks a Mobile Medicine Fleet & Logistics technician to perform routine maintenance on MTF vehicles, assist in setup and breakdown, and ensure readiness for organ/tissue transport through all donor phases.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and a CDL or related certifications are preferred. Strong communication and physical stamina are essential, with EVOC and BCLS certifications valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL-Class A license preferred within one year of hire.
• American Heart Association BCLS required.
• Advocate Health Risk Management EVOC annually required.
• Valid Driver License in work state; CDL Class B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance of MTF including the tractor, tractor trailer and generator.
• Assists in setup and breakdown of MTF and related logistics functions.
• Performs preventative maintenance (electrical, plumbing, general construction and carpentry) for MTF.
• Oversees deployment of vehicle in emergency situations.
• Keeps a record of MTF resources before, during and after deployment.
• Performs general housekeeping duties with regards to MTF.
• Facilitates and communicates repairs that requires specialized skills through outside vendors.
• Inspects, maintains, and operates emergency vehicles for organ/tissue transport through donor recovery phases.
• Inspects, maintains, and operates vehicles for decedent transport and tissue recovery through donor processes.
• Ensures interior vehicle surfaces are cleaned and disinfected between trips.
• Works under Mobile Medicine Fleet & Logistics leadership to fulfill routine, unscheduled and emergent vehicle, supply, maintenance & preparedness tasks.
