Job summary

Guilford County Government seeks an EMS Logistics Technician to manage inspection, stocking, fueling, and cleaning of Emergency Services vehicles and to deliver materials to EMS supply points. The role requires understanding of materials and equipment used in our department and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include inventory control, vehicle resupply, and completing reports while ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of equipment and materials used in the department.
• Ability to package supplies in provided bins and containers.
• Ability to inventory and supply assigned vehicles as directed.
• Ability to deliver supplies to EMS supply points.
• Ability to operate EMS units safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Check out and stock missing/used supplies.
• Check vehicle inventory and expiration dates of all materials and equipment.
• Transport emergency services vehicles as needed.
• Resupply vehicles with required materials and equipment before placing unit back in service.
• Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment as required by departmental standards.
• Complete all forms and reports; maintain records on equipment/supplies and vehicle status.
• Clean and fuels the vehicles.
• Deliver supplies to restock EMS supply points as directed.
