Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Driver responsible for the safe and timely movement of tractor trailers configured for mobile medical imaging. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, set-up and take-down, and may wash/clean units, with strict adherence to FMCSR.

Local travel is required and shifts can include 2nd & 3rd. Requirements include a valid CDL-A in the state of residence with DOT Medical, 1 year tractor-trailer experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to pass a background check and

Qualifications

• Transports unit(s) and performs pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Valid CDL in state of residence and DOT Medical.
• 1 year commercial tractor trailer experience; FMCSR knowledge; basic computer skills.
• Ability to work any schedule Monday–Sunday including 2nd & 3rd shifts; local travel required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Transports unit(s) / Pre- and Post-trip inspections / Set-up and Take-down procedures.
• Completes required documentation and reporting.
• Performs wash / minor repairs.
• Misc. - Wait time, Tractor srvs.
