Job summary

KR Wolfe, Inc. is seeking a Medical Equipment Field Service Technician to perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting, documentation, and minor repairs of medical equipment in healthcare environments.

The role requires travel to customer locations and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and manufacturers for more complex repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with diagnostic tools, and the ability to document findings clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or biomedical training preferred.
• Minimum of two years in field service, equipment maintenance, or related technical environment preferred.
• Experience servicing medical devices or imaging equipment highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections and evaluations of medical equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, or operational issues.
• Safely access internal components and perform minor repairs within scope of work.
• Document inspection results with photos and notes; elevate complex issues to appropriate teams.
• Maintain records of equipment information, service activity, and parts used.
• Coordinate with internal teams and manufacturers for repairs and follow-up work.
• Communicate findings clearly to customers and healthcare facility staff.
