Job summary

KR Wolfe Inc. is seeking a Medical Equipment Field Service Technician to perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of medical devices in healthcare settings.

This role requires travel to customer locations and coordination with internal teams for more complex repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with diagnostic tools, and the ability to document findings clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school, vocational training, electronics training, biomedical equipment training, or related technical certification preferred.
• Minimum two years of field service or related technical experience preferred.
• Experience servicing medical devices, diagnostic equipment, imaging equipment, or Hologic equipment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and evaluations of medical equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify observable mechanical, electrical, or operational issues.
• Safely remove and reinstall equipment covers, panels, and components for access to internal areas.
• Perform minor repairs, adjustments, or component replacement within approved scope.
• Document inspection results, equipment conditions, troubleshooting steps, and next steps.
