Job summary

KR Wolfe Inc. seeks a Medical Equipment Field Service Technician to perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting, documentation, and minor repairs of medical equipment in healthcare settings. This hands-on role requires travel to customer sites, strong mechanical skills, and careful record-keeping.

You will coordinate with internal teams for complex repairs, maintain safety standards, and communicate findings clearly to customers and management. Prior biomedical equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical/bio-medical training is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 100% and work in hospitals, clinics and healthcare facilities.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and basic electrical safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections and evaluations of medical equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, or operational issues.
• Safely access internal areas, document findings with notes and photos.
• Perform minor repairs within approved scope and coordinate with teams for complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate records, photos, timecards, and reports; communicate progress to stakeholders.
