Job summary

360care is seeking a Travel Medical Assistant to support physicians at long-term care facilities within a 2-hour radius. Mileage reimbursement and drive time pay are provided.

You will maintain clinical records in EMR, assist with patient care and equipment maintenance, and coordinate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow during visits.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, reliable transportation, a TB test, and excellent communication skills to interact with patients and doctors.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED.
• Must have own reliable transportation, good driving record and car insurance.
• Must have completed and passed a two-step TB test.
• Good computer skills required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to follow directions and listen to needs of patients and doctors.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Completes chart prep on scheduled patients prior to every visit.
• Verifies and maintains current and accurate clinical records through EMR during patient visits.
• Maintains and ensures integrity of all documentation.
• Balances and generates daily production reports and provides to manager on the day of visit.
