Job summary

360care is seeking a Traveling Medical Assistant to support physicians at long term care facilities. You will travel within a 1.5 hour radius, with mileage reimbursement and drive time pay.

Responsibilities include assisting providers, preparing charts in EMR, maintaining departmental records, and ensuring patient flow and safety during visits. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, passing a two-step TB test, and strong communication and computer

Qualifications

• High School education or GED.
• Must have own reliable transportation, good driving record and car insurance.
• Good computer skills required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to follow directions and listen to needs of patients and doctors.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Completes chart prep on scheduled patients prior to every visit.
• Verifies and maintains current and accurate clinical records through EMR during patient visits.
• Maintains current and accurate clinical records and charts through EMR.
• Completes end of visit reports and shares with management.
• Provides daily feedback and coordinates with branch office to optimize schedule and reporting.
• Coordinate patient flow during facility visits and assist as needed.
• Balance and generate daily production reports for the manager.
• Post charges to the provider in a timely fashion.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and PHI.
