Job summary

CareMore Health is seeking a Mobile Medical Assistant to support patient-centered care across inpatient facilities, post-acute settings, ambulatory clinics, group homes, assisted living facilities, and patient homes. This field-based role requires regular travel to deliver healthcare services in diverse environments.

You will obtain vital signs and histories, prepare patients for exams, assist providers, and document in the EHR while coordinating follow-up care and inventory needs.

• Knowledge of EHR documentation and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile clinical support across multiple care settings.
• Travel regularly within the assigned service area to support providers and patient care.
• Obtain, document, and communicate vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments with required documentation and supplies.
• Assist physicians and other licensed providers during examinations, procedures, and tests.
• Complete follow-up activities including outreach, documentation updates, and referrals.
• Support medication, vaccine, and clinical supply workflows and inventory management.
• Identify gaps in patient records and promote accurate, compliant care delivery.
• Maintain examination rooms and mobile equipment to ensure a safe care environment.
• Accurately document patient interactions and provider instructions in the EHR.
• Coordinate daily schedules and field visit logistics for efficient workflows.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Adhere to policies, regulatory requirements, infection prevention, and patient confidentiality.
• Operate independently in field environments with professionalism and safety.
