Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deploy across multiple project footprints in the United States, executing mechanical repairs, electrical diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on portable plant structures.

You will operate across a wide territory, supporting PM cycles and emergency breaks while maintaining a strong safety posture. This role requires high school diploma, technical training, and 3–4 years in mechanical repair within industrial environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers’ training program.
• 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and use of shop equipment (welding, machining).

Responsibilities

• Support high regional mobility across active temporary plant deployments to perform PM cycles.
• Repair machinery components for central wet drums and dry transit setups.
• Perform field maintenance with strict safety adherence.
• Follow LOTO protocols and work in confined spaces with fall protection.
• Ensure conveyor and gate alignment to prevent cross-contamination and drift.
• Extend asset lifecycles through greasing, gear-drive maintenance, and quick troubleshooting.
• Complete daily inspections, parts consumption registries, and work orders for the Maintenance Manager.
• Collaborate with the site Batch Plant Superintendent and report to the regional Maintenance Manager.
• Demonstrate safety culture and comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
