Job summary

Ameritex is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment and facilities, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting under the Maintenance Manager's direction. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely execution using CMMS and standard operating procedures.

Qualified candidates have a GED or HS diploma, 2+ years in mechanical and electrical work, and preferably an associate degree or higher.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Associates degree or higher is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical experience.
• Exposure to PLC technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Test and diagnose equipment using appropriate tools and documentation.
• Coordinate with other workers and operators to resolve problems and schedule work.
