Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment in peak condition and support production. You will inspect, repair, and maintain production machinery, ensuring daily readiness and reporting issues to the Area Manager.

Responsibilities include welding structures, completing work orders, and assisting teammates while upholding safety policies. A minimum of 2 years in heavy industry maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and shop equipment.
• Welding experience.
• Experience working in confined spaces.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant and equipment; perform repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete work orders timely; install, repair, and fabricate metal parts.
• Prepare and weld steel and aluminum structures and appendages.
• Conduct routine inspections and report findings to Area Manager.
• Assist others to support project tasks and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies to address safety concerns and equipment failures.
• Perform emergency repairs to production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain shop, equipment, tools, vehicles and ensure safety and readiness.
• Promote and adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
